I've got Teenage hair loss?

I've noticed that I've been losing a lot, I mean A LOT, of hair the last couple of days. If I pull my fingers lightly through my hair then about 10 strands of hair will come out with it. I used to have really thick hair and I had it thinned out a little about a month ago.

I'm 13, going on 14, and I've started my period. I've got normal body fat and normal diet (healthy diet)

Can anybody explain this to me?I've got Teenage hair loss?
if you lose ~100 strands per day then it is normal!!!

anyway you are going through puberty period!I've got Teenage hair loss?
There are lots of things that could cause hair loss. Stress, nutrition (do you drink enough water and get enough protein and vitamins?), water quality (hard vs. soft), new medication, etc. You might just need to change up your hair products. Also, with the weather becoming warmer you just may be experiencing some temporary increased shedding (kind of like what animals experience because they don't need as much hair in warmer months). Don't worry too much at this point, but if it persists, you may want to see your doctor.
girl, the exact same is happening to me!, i turned 14 yesterday, and sicne 3 weeks my hair has been falling out loads, not normally but when washed it falls out for the whole time its wet and when i come it after washing it, i was worried and went to the doctors and found out it is perfectly normal and part of adolescence , to lessen the amount , my mum bought this shapoo soap thing for me, frm lush-if ur frm england u would hve heard of it, but that and ask for instructions

Apply a paste of hot olive oil and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder before bath and keep for 15 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo. This when done at least once a week will arrest hair fall. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.
