Teenage Girl Hair Loss?

I was born with fairly thick straight blonde hair you would expect a child to have, but around 12 years old or so, it turned thin and curly. I am 17 now and you can see bald patches at my sides and on top of my scalp. The ratio of the bulb of the hair is very tiny comparing to the hair shaft and my hair just becomes more and more curly and falls out, especially when I brush it. Has anyone experienced this before? Doctors have checked my blood and there seems to be nothing that supports this....any advice?Teenage Girl Hair Loss?
